Chingiz Allazov has an issue with Marat Grigorian’s recent interviews.
‘Chinga’ became the ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion, and he might already have his first world title defense materializing. Assuming Superbon doesn’t get an immediate rematch, number two-ranked Grigorian could be next for Allazov.
During his ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video post-fight press conference, the 29-year-old had this to say:
“Yes he beat everyone. I see many of his interviews he [Grigorian] said he beat Chingiz Allazov and I don't like that way he talks about me.”

‘Chinga’ made a statement by knocking out Superbon in the second round. Going into ONE Fight Night 6, Allazov’s skills were respected despite being considered a sizeable underdog. There is now no doubt that the new featherweight world champion is the number one pound-for-pound kickboxer on the planet.

Chingiz Allazov praises the ONE featherweight kickboxing division
Chingiz Allazov is the new king of the stacked ONE Championship featherweight kickboxing division. Besides the 29-year-old phenom, the division also features former titleholder Superbon Singha Mawynn, 8x kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, and former ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix champion Giorgio Petrosyan.
During his ONE Fight Night 6 post-fight interview, Allazov praised the division by saying:
“I respect Superbon. He had a good game plan. Sitthichai, he also had a good plan, Grigorian and Petrosyan, he can beat them and knock them out. Petrosyan is a good kickboxer. Petrosyan, Grigorian, Sitthichai, Superbon and me, all five of us are the best kickboxers in the world, pound-for-pound.”
Allazov has plenty of options for his next fight now that he’s on top of the food chain in the featherweight kickboxing ranks. The 29-year-old could choose to rematch Superbon or move on and fight Grigorian to defend his newly-acquired belt. Meanwhile, several super-fights could materialize.
‘Chinga’ has shown interest in fighting the ONE featherweight Muay Thai champion Tawanchai, as long as it’s with kickboxing rules. There is also a small possibility of Allazov taking on two-sport lightweight world champion Regian Eersel. Only time will tell what’s next for the new featherweight kickboxing king.
