Chingiz Allazov is eager to finally step in the Circle with Superbon

Belarusian striker Chingiz Allazov has been chomping at the bit to step in the circle with the ONE featherweight kickboxing champion since he entered the promotion. He'll finally get that opportunity at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video.

'Chinga' earned the right to fight for a world title after securing three straight wins en route to winning the Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix last March. Chingiz Allazov recently spoke to ONE Championship regarding his eagerness to finally face Superbon.

He told the promotion:

"In kickboxing, maybe it is the number one fight in the world now, really. A lot of people have been waiting for this fight. I stayed in Thailand and people say, 'Oh this is a really amazing fight, Chingiz.' This Superbon fight. I waited for this day, it's been a long time preparing for this figh,t like I said before."

Not only is Allazov fighting for his first world title, but he's doing so in the first main event of 2023, which also serves as the top contender's first headlining slot.

Chingiz Allazov believes he has crisper hands than Superbon

In four fights inside the circle, 'Chinga' has displayed his world-class hands, most notably in his knockout wins over Samy Sana and Jo Nattawut.

With 36 professional wins to his name, Allazov has proved to be one of the top strikers on earth at featherweight. He even claims to have sharper hands than the current champ.

He told ONE:

“[Superbon] has good kicks, I have the same good kicks. He has good boxing, but I have two-to-three times better boxing than him, and more power than him. In this sport, it comes down to who is clever, who is more powerful, who has more timing, and who has a good game plan.”

The former K-1 super welterweight champion is set to face arguably the top pound-for-pound kickboxer on the planet. Allazov's name will be etched into ONE Championship's history books if he's able to get the job done.
