Chingiz Allazov has captured two illustrious world titles in kickboxing under ONE Championship, and both of those wins came against incredible fighters.
Last year, the Azerbaijani-Belarusian athlete captured the ONE featherweight kickboxing world Grand Prix championship when he defeated Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in the final match of the tournament. 'Chinga' followed this up by recently capturing the ONE featherweight kickboxing world title by knocking out Superbon Singha Mawynn.
The 29-year-old fighter is particularly proud of his win over Sitthichai. The Thai-born athlete has held numerous world titles at the Lumpinee Stadium, GLORY Kickboxing, Kunlun, and more.

Reflecting on his win over Sitthichai, Chingiz Allazov spoke in a post-fight press conference:
"My division has many fighters. I’ve said before, Sitthichai is one of the best kickboxers in the world. Really. He is a pound-for-pound kickboxer. For me, Sitthichai is better than Marat Grigorian, and better than Petrosyan, better than Superbon. I’ve said this before."

Chingiz Allazov discusses the win over Superbon
Chingiz Allazov earning a second-round knockout over Superbon shook up the world of kickboxing. While speaking to the media after the match, the athlete explained how he was able to win the fight:
“We fought Superbon after I took one or two years to focus 100 percent. Everyday I trained, with my mind only focused on the fight. For me, my opponent is not a problem. I always train hard for every fight. But mentally [for this fight], I was 100 percent, and [that’s why] I won.”
Allazov has plenty of top contenders for his next challenge, he may even go up in weight and see what the lightweights are all about. Speaking to SCMP MMA in an interview after the Superbon match, 'Chinga' said:
“Marat Grigorian is a dangerous fighter. He has power, he can go forward. Same with [Giorgio] Petrosyan – but he had his big knockout loss to Superbon. Maybe he comes back. I like this fight.”
Whether he chooses to challenge Regian Eersel or one of his many contenders, combat sports fans are eagerly awaiting the next fight of the newly crowned ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Chingiz Allazov.
