Chingiz Allazov isn’t counting out a super-fight against Tawanchai PK Saenchai.
‘Chinga’ solidified himself as the best pound-for-pound kickboxer on the planet after defeating Superbon with a second-round knockout. Allazov was somewhat underestimated going into the ONE Fight Night 6 main event, but he silenced all the doubters. Now that he’s the featherweight kickboxing king, he’s starting to get called out by other ONE Championship superstars.
Tawanchai, the ONE Muay Thai featherweight champion, has called out Allazov. ‘Chinga’ responded during the ONE Fight Night 6 post-fight interview by saying:
“Before, I had many questions. ‘Chingiz, maybe you’d like to fight in Muay Thai?’ 11 years ago, I fought in Muay Thai. Before, all my fights were Muay Thai… I like Muay Thai. I like elbows. I like knees. I like clinching, we, my team. I started my career in Muay Thai, not kickboxing. But after I went to K1, I changed my style a bit and trained only with K1, fighting only at K1. For me, [Muay Thai] is another style. It’s really a [different] style. The timing in Muay Thai is different from the timing in kickboxing.”

Allazov concluded by saying:
“Maybe Tawanchai comes to my weight [class] and fights with me in kickboxing. No problem.”
If Tawanchai wants the super-fight, he must agree to kickboxing rules. Allazov has become a superstar in the kickboxing world and doesn’t plan on taking the risk of fighting in Muay Thai at this time.

Chingiz Allazov believes Sitthichai is the best ONE featherweight kickboxer besides himself
Chingiz Allazov has put the kickboxing world on notice after defeating Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong and Superbon Singha Mawynn in his last two fights. Although there are two worthy contenders he hasn’t fought - Giorgio Petrosyan and Marat Grigorian - Allazov believes he’s already beaten the best featherweight kickboxer. He had this to say:
“My division has many fighters. I’ve said before, Sitthichai is one of the best kickboxers in the world. Really. He is a pound-for-pound kickboxer. For me, Sitthichai is better than Marat Grigorian, and better than Petrosyan, better than Superbon. I’ve said this before.”
‘Chinga’ made his ONE debut in April 2021 with a disappointing loss to Enriko Kehl via split decision. He never gave up, and then joined the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix, defeating Samy Sana and Jo Nattawut via back-to-back knockouts. The 29-year-old then took out Sitthichai in the final, leading to his upset against Superbon at ONE Fight Night 6.
