Chingiz Allazov believes a poor game plan is what led to Superbon Singha Mawynn’s spectacular head-kick knockout of Giorgio Petrosyan.
On Friday night, Allazov will get his long-awaited shot at ONE Championship gold when he steps inside the circle with reigning and defending ONE featherweight kickboxing world titleholder, Superbon.
The pair will headline an epic ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video event that also features flyweight greats Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Superlek Kiatmoo9 in kickboxing action.
Hours away from their world title clash, Chingiz Allazov sat down with the promotion to share his thoughts on what has quickly become Superbon’s greatest highlight; the jaw-dropping second-round destruction of Giorgio Petrosyan at ONE: First Strike in 2021.

While Allazov stopped short of discrediting the incredible finish that Superbon delivered, he does believe that it was more the result of Petrosyan’s poor game plan going into the bout:
“For me the fight with Superbon and Giorgio Petrosyan, yes it was good, one of the best KOs in kickboxing,” Allazov said in an interview with ONE Championship. “But Petrosyan made a mistake and after the punch, he had problems with control and all this, but this is a fight and Petrosyan didn't have a good game plan against Superbon. Really, no good game plan. I saw the first round and I said that's no good.”
Fans in North America can catch all the action this Friday night, live and for free on Amazon Prime Video with an active subscription to the streaming service.
Chingiz Allazov is ready to capitalize on a single mistake at ONE Fight Night 6
For Chingiz Allazov, defeating Superbon for the featherweight kickboxing crown all comes down to who develops and executes their game plan the most effectively. As Superbon did against Giorgio Petrosyan, Allazov will be ready to capitalize on a single mistake and walk out of Impact Arena with 26.4 pounds of gold wrapped around his waist:
“I say, this is a battle of game plans – who has a good game plan, who has a good mentality, and who has real freedom. Who wins in this fight? I don't know, but I know in my head, I'm in this fight and I'm focused 100 percent on the process. As I said before, if he makes mistakes it could be a problem.”
Winner of three in a row and the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix title, Chingiz Allazov has been on an absolute tear, scoring two first-round knockouts in the process. Allazov will face the toughest test of his career this Friday night, but he has both the tools and the talent to deliver a massive upset in front of Superbon’s hometown crowd.
