Chingiz Allazov has praised Rodtang ahead of ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video.
Before Allazov fights in the main event, Rodtang returns to the flyweight kickboxing division on January 13. ‘The Iron Man’ has dominated the flyweight Muay Thai ranks, and he’s now looking for a new challenge. During an interview with ONE Championship, ‘Chinga’ had this to say about the Thai superstar:
“He wins this fight and he's good. He has a big heart. And he goes forward all the time. It's good, I don't know in this [weight class], I don't know who can stop Rodtang now. Maybe, you know, Superlek.”

Rodtang was supposed to fight Daniel Puertas before Ilias Ennahachai vacated the flyweight kickboxing world title, leaving Superlek without an opponent. Puertas was promoted to the co-main event title fight, and ‘The Iron Man’ was matched up against Jiduo Yibu. If the Muay Thai superstar emerges victorious, he’s expected to fight the winner of the co-main event next.

Chingiz Allazov is locked in for his world title fight against Superbon Singha Mawynn
ONE Fight Night 6 features several high-stakes matchups, but none are more important than the main event. Chingiz Allazov will look to cash in on his ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix championship and become the undisputed champion by defeating reigning king Superbon Singha Mawynn.
During an interview with ONE, Allazov had this to say:
“I have changed but I have not changed the real game plan - maybe I have good qualities now, better than in Manila and Thailand before that. Now I am focused and now we have trained hard last time… We're really ready. Weight is no problem but we wait for the time to test and after it's okay. We go to fight, I like this day, I’ve waited for this day."
Allazov is being somewhat overlooked, despite being one of the best kickboxers on the planet. With that said, Superbon has separated himself as an all-time great who continues to improve. It’s safe to say that this featherweight kickboxing matchup is the perfect way to start ONE Championship’s calendar year.
