“Yes, I had a long amateur career. I am a five-time world champion in Muay Thai with WMC, and in other promotions. I’ve had many amateur fights. For me, I fought 5-10 fights in one month, it was normal. My coach tells me to prepare for a fight and [I do it]. We’ve had more than 200, maybe 250 fights. I only lost three fights. I fought before in kickboxing and MMA.”
Chingiz Allazov added:
“You know this is good for the young fighters. This is good for your career, this is good.”
ONE shared that Chingiz Allazov picked up Muay Thai at the age of 10 as a form of self-defense and steadily progressed in the sport and in others from there. Prior to becoming the featherweight kickboxing king, he won the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix which earned him a shot at ONE gold.

Chingiz Allazov showed tremendous punching power, which Superbon just could not handle, on his way to a KO win and a $50,000 performance bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
Following a relatively even opening round between the fighters, Allazov picked up the intensity inside the opening minute of the second round. He initially dropped Superbon twice with massive right hands. Seeing how he already had his opponent on the ropes, Allazov went for the finish from there, landing a huge overhand right that sent the Thai fighter to the mat for the third and final time.
The referee officially stopped the contest at the 1:03 mark of round 2. Following his victory, Allazov made it known that he intended to seek new challenges and compete for world titles in other sports and divisions.
