Fights fans on Instagram wonder if Jonathan Haggerty has the potential to utilize one of his signature weapons against Superlek Kiatmoo9 when they lock horns together at ONE 168: Denver.

The UK superstar can be a vicious striker when given the opportunity. The downward elbow is the most devastating technique he has in his arsenal because of its unpredictability and high-damage potential.

Very few fighters use this technique in real-time, but Haggerty certainly does. So the fans are wondering if he'll have the ability to do that against one of the best pound-for-pound strikers of all time, Superlek.

ONE Championship released a montage of clips showcasing Haggerty's devastating power on Instagram with the caption:

"Time to get revenge" - Jonathan Haggerty hopes to achieve absolute revenge against long-time rival Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 168: Denver

Jonathan Haggerty is looking forward to running things back with Superlek at ONE 168: Denver.

On Sept. 6, flyweight Muay Thai king Superlek Kiatmoo9 will go up a weight class to challenge 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty for his bantamweight Muay Thai crown in Colorado.

Unbeknownst to many, their bout is a rematch based on one of the matches they had outside the promotion. At the time, Haggerty only had a few wins to his credit, but Superlek was already a household name when they last fought in 2018.

Although Haggerty lost this one via a doctor's stoppage, 'The General' treats the loss as if it was one of the fights that got away. With that said, he's looking forward to redeeming himself on the global stage after putting in a lifetime of work fighting for his belt.

Speaking to ONE, Haggerty said:

"I fought him before, around seven to eight years ago, and he managed to stop me in the second round due to a cut. But now, it's time to get revenge, and I'm excited for it."
