Thailand's Chorfah Tor.Sangtiennoi is an impressive Muay Thai athlete who stumbled early in his ONE Championship career. In his debut match, he sustained a loss to Tagir Khalilov.
In a recent interview with ONE Championship, the Thai athlete looked back on the setback. He explained:
"In my fight with Tagir, I think I was a bit flustered because it was my first fight in ONE Championship. Plus, I was too focused on a great performance. That is why I failed easily."

The 29-year-old fighter added that there were multiple factors that he was struggling with. He continued:
"I tried to kick Tagir early in the game. But when I got close to him, I was punched. When I rewatch my fight video, I agree that I got up [from the knockdown] too early. Another reason was I still didn’t fully understand the rules. After this match, I had so much regret that I can’t explain it."
Chorfah will next be fighting in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 3 against Petsukumvit Boi Bangna. The event is booked for Friday, February 3, from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Petsukumvit Boi Bangna following in Rodtang's footsteps against Chorfah
Petsukumvit Boi Bangna will be making his ONE Championship debut against Chorfah at ONE Friday Fights 3. Petsukumvit said that he will follow the same gameplan that Rodtang Jitmuangnon used when he defeated him in 2018.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Thailand's Petsukumvit explained:
"I want to walk in Rodtang’s footsteps. He’s my idol. I like his fighting spirit, and his determination to succeed in ONE Championship and be known all over the world. I really want to be like him.”
Regarding his debut in ONE Championship, he added that this has been his life's dream. Petsukumvit said:
“I have dreams of joining ONE Championship’s [arena events]. And to compete in ONE Lumpinee on Friday is my chance. If I can perform well enough, I might be able to compete at ONE’s [other events], and I’ll be happy.”
The Lumpinee Boxing Stadium is expected to have an electrified sell-out audience for ONE Friday Fights 3, just like at the past few events in this series.
