UFC middleweight Chris Curtis responded to UFC Vegas 70's main event winner Brendan Allen's call-out on Twitter.
Allen's co-main fight against Andre Muniz was upgraded to the main event after Nikita Krylov fell to a food-borne illness and had to back out of his bout against Ryan Spann. Allen and Muniz traded strikes on their feet before Allen surprised his Brazilian opponent with a takedown that ultimately resulted in a rear-naked choke submission.
Allen issued a call-out to his former opponent Curtis in the aftermath of his win. He received a prompt response from 'Action Man' in a video posted by him on Twitter. Curtis made a questionable analogy about Allen's confidence in his abilities while Allen's interview played in the background on television.
Curtis dismissively said:

“Every dead body on Mount Everest was once a really confident person, kids, remember that. Good job though tonight Brendan [Allen].”

Curtis also followed it up with another video of him singing George Michael's song, Father Figure. He sang:
“I will be your father figure. Put your tiny hand in mine. I will be your preacher teacher.”

Brendan Allen won his second straight Performance of the Night bonus and has now racked up six wins in his last seven fights. His sole loss during this powerful run came at the hands of Chris Curtis and Allen is keen to avenge himself.
Chris Curtis blasts UFC for replacing his main card fight in favor of Raul Rosas Jr.
Chris Curtis is set to face off against middleweight Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 287. The fight was slated to open the main card being headlined by the middleweight championship rematch between Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya.
However, the promotion decided to feature its youngest fighter Raul Rosas Jr. in that spot for his fight against Christian Rodriguez. Curtis did not take kindly to the decision and took to Twitter to voice his frustration.
'Action Man' admitted to feeling salty about the decision and repeatedly called Rosas Jr. a child.
"Not gonna lie, that bout order is completely f****d. One of the best cards of the year and I get bounced from the main card for a child? I fought on short notice. Have take on whoever and gone 4-1 to get ranked and I get bounced for a kid with one fight? Yeah I'm salty as f**k."
