Chris Curtis weighs in on the Jake Paul/Floyd Mayweather controversy

Jake Paul's reaction to Floyd Mayweather's antics has the world talking and UFC middleweight contender Chris Curtis has shared his views on the unusual situation.

'The Action Man' has been a force since joining the UFC and excluding his setback against Jack Hermansson, he has been almost flawless inside the octagon. With a 4-1 record since joining the promotion, the titan doesn't only know how to win, but he knows how to find spectacular knockouts in the process.

In a post on social media, Chris Curtis sided with Jake Paul—despite disliking the internet personality—insisting he would have reacted in the same manner should he find himself in a similar scenario.

"People are trying to cook Jake Paul for b*tching out in the altercation but I am not mad and I HATE JAKE PAUL. I like to fight, I've fought with 4-to-1 numbers before, but when we start seeing anything over 10-to-1, I'm out."

As stated by Curtis, many are using this opportunity to shower Jake Paul with hate and laughter at his actions, despite him doing the sensible thing. This is arguably the last thing 'The Problem Child' needs as he looks to get his boxing career back on track following his first professional loss in the sport to Tommy Fury last time out.

Both Jake and Floyd are still on rocky terms from their altercation almost two years ago, when the young YouTube star snatched the undefeated boxer's hat in a clip that ultimately went viral.

Having lost five of his last six under the UFC banner, Gastelum had a chance to redeem himself against Nassourdine Imavov earlier on in the year but was forced to pull out due to an injury in training. He now finds himself locking horns with the heavy-hitting Chris Curtis and the two will meet at UFC 287 on April 8.
