Newly-crowned two-division world champion Christian Lee wouldn’t have made it at this stage of his MMA journey without the help of the strongest support system on the planet: his family.
‘The Warrior’ put on a courageous performance this past Friday against Kiamrian Abbasov to claim the ONE welterweight world title at ONE on Prime Video 4. After receiving some pushback from doubting fans, the 24-year-old star used that as fuel to propel himself to take action and beat the odds.
After a grueling 3-round fight, Lee turned up the pressure, giving what energy he had left, to finish Abbasov by fourth-round stoppage. Taking to Instagram to thank his fans in the aftermath, Lee continued to express his gratitude to those who have been with him every step of the way.

Christian Lee reveals what he plans to do with $50,000 bonus prize
Last Friday, Christian Lee bagged his second $50,000 performance bonus of the year.
He claimed his first bonus just a few months back when he reclaimed the ONE lightweight world title in dominant fashion against Ok Rae Yoon in the main event of ONE 160.
The United MMA representative was clearly motivated to take back the belt that he thought he didn’t deserve to lose and put his words into action, not letting his South Korean foe get into any kind of groove during the duration of their fight.
While he wasn’t as dominant against Abbasov, he was nonetheless impressive and resilient as he etched his name in the history books as the latest two-division world champion at ONE on Prime Video 4, Lee.
The 24-year-old was rightfully awarded his second performance bonus of the year. When host and commentator Mitch Chilson asked him what he planned to do with his reward, Christian Lee said:
“Thank you Chatri. I’m so happy. That’s such an amazing award to achieve and, First one went to my baby girl, second one’s going to my next baby on the way.”
