Christian Lee will be moving up a weight division and is looking to become a two-division world champion. At ONE on Prime Video 4, the reigning lightweight king will look to defeat the ONE welterweight world champion Kiamrian Abbasov.
For the past two years, Lee has been battling against the dangerous South Korean fighter Ok Rae Yoon. The two exchanged wins and losses against one another. Ultimately, with a KO win, Lee got the final victory in their series.
The Singaporean-American fighter is happy to move on from his bouts against Ok and face a new opponent. While speaking with The MMA Junkie Podcast, Lee explained:
“It’s nice having a new opponent. For two years, I was preparing to fight Ok Rae Yoon. So yeah, it is nice to have a new opponent, just a new challenge entirely. Instead of fighting for the lightweight belt and having a rematch, I'm facing a completely different competitor in Abbasov."

Kiamrian Abbasov is not worried about Christian Lee
Russia's Kiamrian Abbasov, the welterweight king, is not too worried about facing the ONE lightweight world champion Christian Lee. Speaking to ONE Championship about his upcoming bout, 'Brazen' issued a warning to his opponent:
“A lot of things will go off plan for [Christian Lee]. Naturally, he will complain to his dad or coach: ‘Coach, big problem. Kiamrian Abbasov is a big problem. Please, stop the fight. Stop the fight.’"
The Russian Abbasov added that once the circle doors are closed, no one can save 'The Warrior':
“When the cage is closed, neither media nor his family will help him. It will be only I and he with all his big problems because of his desire to move up to my division.”
'Brazen' Kiamrian Abbasov will be looking to stop Christian Lee's dreams of becoming a two-division world champion. The two kings will battle headlining on ONE Prime Video 4 on November 18.
