'The Warrior' Christian Lee has offered his thoughts on the high-stakes women's atomweight showdown between Ham Seo Hee and Itsuki Hirata, booked for ONE 163 on November 19.
'Android 18' and 'Hamzzang' will go to war for a potential shot at the top of the competitive atomweight division. The winner will likely move into the top three of the rankings and could be next in line to face atomweight queen 'Unstoppable' Angela Lee.
Angela Lee's brother, Christian Lee, recently discussed the Ham vs. Hirata fight with ONE Championship. He explained:
"Yeah, I mean, I think that's a striker versus grappler matchup. I think it just depends on who's able to get into their game, whether it be whoever gets the takedown first. If Hirata gets a takedown, I think she's going to submit her. If it stays on the feet, I think that Ham is going to probably keep it striking and win the decision."

Japan's Hirata is dangerous on the ground. The 23-year-old has a base in judo and was aiming for the Olympics until an injury put her on the sidelines. But through that experience, she's discovered MMA and has earned a 6-1 record professionally.
Meanwhile, 'Hamzzang' is one of the most decorated women's atomweight fighters in history. She has held world titles in RIZIN and Jewels. The South Korean athlete has an esteemed record of 25-8.
Christian Lee targets a second world title
Lightweight king Christian Lee will be looking to become a two-division world champion when he fights at ONE on Prime Video 4. Ham vs. Hirata will take place on November 19, while Lee will be competing on November 18.
The Singaporean-American will be facing ONE welterweight world champion 'Brazen' Kiamrian Abbasov in the headlining fight on Amazon Prime Video.
Christian Lee discussed his upcoming champion vs. champion showdown in an interview with ONE, saying:
“I think Abbasov’s greatest strength is the fact that he’s a well-rounded martial artist. He’s a very durable fighter. He’s got good cardio. I feel that he’s able to mix up his striking and his wrestling quite well, which is why he is the champion.”
Christian Lee will be fighting for the welterweight crown on ONE on Prime Video 4 on November 18. All the action at this event will be broadcast live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers in North America.
