Christian Lee reveals Adrian Lee's complex game plan for ONE 168: Denver will feature 'a lot of setups and a lot of traps.'
Earlier this year, Adrian, the younger brother of Christian and Angela Lee made his highly-anticipated ONE Championship debut. The 18-year-old didn't let the special moment overwhelm him, as he secured his first professional MMA win with a second-round submission (rear-naked choke) against Antonio Mammarella.
During an interview with ONE, Christian Lee, a two-division MMA world champion, talked about his younger brother's upcoming fight. 'The Warrior' had this to say about Adrian's game plan being set up to avoid the judge's scorecards:
"Depending on how tough his opponent is, he’ll be ready for it, but we have a lot of setups and a lot of traps in place so that, hopefully, it doesn’t go all three rounds.”

Adrian Lee's opponent for ONE 168: Denver is promotional debutant Nico Cornejo. The 35-year-old holds a professional MMA record of 2-0, both wins by KO/TKO. Cornejo will have a slight advantage against Lee, as he trains in Colorado and won't have any concerns about the infamous elevation.
Nonetheless, Cornejo must overcome plenty of adversity, as Lee is a massive favorite heading into the matchup. With an upset win against Lee, 'The Steel City Kid' could skyrocket his value within the promotion.
Tickets for ONE 168, which goes down inside the Ball Aren, can be found on Ticketmaster. North American fans who can't attend the event in person can tune in live and for free with an Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Christian Lee temporarily puts fight preparations on hold to help Adrian Lee
Christian Lee will again be in the corner of his younger brother, Adrian Lee. This time, there are slightly different circumstances for 'The Warrior' as he's traveling across the world amidst the preparations for his next fight.
On November 8, Lee will end a two-year layoff when he returns to defend his lightweight MMA world title at ONE 169: Atlanta. The 26-year-old's latest challenge is against Alibeg Rasulov, who looked impressive in his promotional debut win against Ok Rae Yoon earlier this year.
Firstly, Christian is focused on helping Adrian emerge victorious at Friday's ONE 168: Denver. It'll be intriguing to see if they each win their upcoming fights.
