Christian Lee explained how his nonprofit business is helping kids through martial arts.
At 26 years old, Lee has separated himself as one of the biggest superstars in ONE Championship. 'The Warrior' is a two-division MMA world champion (lightweight and welterweight) and won the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix.
Lee's positive impact in combat sports hasn't been limited to his in-ring performances. During an interview with ONE, the highly credentialed martial artist had this to say about his nonprofit organization:
“I had another nonprofit business. I opened it up and called it Prodigy Community Center. The goal was to basically take kids from after school, who can’t afford training, and give them a place before the classes to do their homework, to hang out, and then to train in the classes for free."

Lee followed up by saying:
“And then have a ride home if they can’t get picked up by their parents. That was the main thing that drove everything.”
Lee last fought in November 2022, defeating Kiamrian Abbasov to become a two-division MMA world champion. 'The Warrior' hasn't fought since due to the devastating passing of his younger sister, Victoria Lee, who was nicknamed 'The Prodigy,' influencing the name of his nonprofit organization.
Christian Lee is ready to end extended layoff with world-class performance
On Friday, Christian Lee will make his highly-anticipated return in the ONE Fight Night 26 main event. 'The Warrior' is scheduled to defend his original lightweight world title before returning to welterweight.
Lee's upcoming opponent is Alibeg Rasulov, an undefeated Turkish fighter with a professional MMA record of 14-0. Rasulov made his ONE debut earlier this year, defeating former undisputed lightweight world champion Ok Rae Yoon.
Lee has continuously talked about how he stayed sharp during his extended layoff. The two-division MMA world champion plans to remind everyone of how dangerous he is by handing Rasulov his first loss.
The Dec. 6 event goes down inside the legendary Lumpinne Boxing Stadium. ONE Fight Night 26 can be seen live and for free by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
