With 20 career fights in ONE Championship, reigning lightweight titleholder Christian Lee will step into the circle for perhaps the biggest fight of his professional career on Friday night.

‘The Warrior’ will once again step into the main event spotlight to challenge the current welterweight world champion, Kiamrian Abbasov.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Lee revealed that he is looking forward to the highly-anticipated debut of ONE welterweight newcomer Roberto Soldic. 'Robocop' will meet undefeated Russian star Murad Ramazanov at ONE on Prime Video 5 on December.

Should he capture his second ONE world title, Lee aims to defend both as often as possible:

“That’s definitely a fight that's going to be on my radar [Soldic vs. Ramazanov]. Roberto, I know there's been a lot of talk about him. A lot of hype coming from behind him. So I think that if he wins, and he gets a good finish over Ramazanov, he's definitely next in line.”

Lee continued:

“On the other hand, I think that Ramazanov was already in line for a title shot before that fight. So I don't see any other welterweight contenders that they would put ahead of the line for a title shot."

Christian Lee’s return to the circle will air live and free for subscribers on Amazon Prime Video this Friday, November 18.

Christian Lee is grateful for the chance to become a two-division champion

Christian Lee is grateful for the opportunity that ONE Championship has presented to him at ONE on Prime Video 4. Already carrying ONE world championship around his waist, ‘The Warrior’ will attempt to add to it this Friday night in U.S. primetime.

Just days out from the opportunity to make ONE history, Lee expressed his gratitude:

“I'm extremely grateful... I'm sure there are other organizations that would want the champion to go and get a few fights in the welterweight division before going for a title. But I also feel like everything lined up well to make this super fight happen.”
