Christian Lee says “it’s just a matter of time” before Adrian Lee joins him at ONE Championship’s hall of world champions

Christian Lee was one-half of the first pair of siblings to capture ONE Championship gold, and he feels he could soon be in that same situation.

The reigning ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion believes his younger brother Adrian could one day join him in ONE Championship's hallowed hall of world champions.

In an interview with The Brian Campbell Experience, Lee expressed his confidence in his belief that he and Adrian will simultaneously hold ONE Championship gold sooner than later.

Christian Lee said:

"Absolutely, it's going to happen. It's just a matter of time. I have absolute confidence in my brother and his skills, so yeah, without a doubt. I think it’s just a matter of time."

Adrian was one of the best amateur fighters in recent years and held four National Youth MMA Championships.

He also held multiple amateur titles in wrestling and kickboxing in his home state of Hawaii.

The youngest of the famed Lee siblings ultimately made his ONE Championship debut at ONE 167 when he submitted Aussie fighter Antonio Mammarella in June 2024.

Adrian then followed it up with another submission win over Nico Cornejo at ONE 168: Denver in September this year.

Lee, meanwhile, once held ONE Championship gold simultaneously with his older sister Angela Lee.

Angela was the ONE women's atomweight MMA world champion while Christian held the ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA straps.

Lee could extend his hold of the ONE lightweight MMA world title when he defends his strap against Alibeg Rasulov in the main event of ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6 at the historic Lumpinee Stadium.

Christian Lee confident he can finish Alibeg Rasulov's perfect streak

Alibeg Rasulov is in perfect form ahead of ONE Fight Night 26, but Christian Lee is confident he can erase the Turkish mauler's coveted zero.

In the same interview with Brian Campbell, Lee said he respects Rasulov as a fighter. However, Lee believes Rasulov has yet to face a fighter like him.

"I do have the confidence that I'm going to get through this match quickly. You know, all the respect to Rasulov, he's a great opponent, he's undefeated, but yeah, I think that he's just not ready for what I have to offer and what I bring to the table."
