Christian Lee is just weeks away from trying to make history as the youngest-ever simultaneous two-weight world champion. At ONE on Prime Video 4, Lee will move up to the welterweight division to face Kiamrian Abbasov in a champion vs. champion matchup.

Whilst Christian Lee is already at the top of the lightweight division, he has one eye set on the welterweights and has identified who his first challenger could be if he is successful in becoming the division's king.

Just weeks on from Abbasov vs. Lee, Roberto Soldic will make his ONE Championship debut against the undefeated Murad Ramazanov. In an interview with The MMA Super-Fan, Christian Lee spoke about the stakes that are attached to that fight:

“I think that’s a title eliminator fight. I think that whoever wins that fight will be next in line for the belt. Ramazanov, I believe he has three wins in the welterweight division, a very impressive record. He could have been next in line for the welterweight shot as well. And with Roberto coming in, bringing the resume that he has, I think definitely the winner of that fight will be next.”

Roberto Soldic debuts in ONE Championship as a former simultaneous two-weight world champion himself. Holding both the KSW welterweight and middleweight championships at the time he departed the company, it wouldn’t be a surprise to anyone if he finds himself competing for gold sometime in the near future.

Christian Lee isn’t competing to write his siblings wrongs

Two-division world champion status secures a fighter's legacy in the ONE Championship history books. Lightweight world champion Christian Lee will get his chance to write his name in the book at ONE on Prime Video 4.

On November 18, ‘The Warrior’ will move up a weight division to face Kiamrian Abbasov and attempt to steal his welterweight championship, adding a second belt to his shoulder in the process.

With the biggest fight of his career just weeks away and an extremely tough opponent in the waiting, Lee has made it clear that he isn’t out for any kind of family vengeance.

Pundits have created a narrative of the 24-year old stepping into the circle to right some wrongs. That's after his sister Angela Lee came up short in her quest to become a simultaneous two-weight world champion.

Angela Lee lost a unanimous decision in her third fight with Xiong Jing Nan at ONE on Prime Video 2, with Xiong’s women’s strawweight world championship on the line.

Whilst Lee being victorious in his fight would be a huge cause for celebration from the Lee family, there is no revenge aspect on the table for ‘The Warrior’. He remains focused on the opportunity that he has been presented with.
