Christian Lee says younger sister Victoria Lee will "pick her opponent apart" with striking

Christian Lee is expecting big things from his younger sister, Victoria Lee when she resumes her ONE Championship career in 2023.

Debuting under the ONE banner when she was just 17 years old, Victoria Lee quickly went from prospect to prodigy, dispatching her first opponent, Sunisa Srisen, with a second-round submission. ‘The Prodigy’ followed that up with a second-straight submission, putting away Wang Luping at ONE: Battleground.

Lee closed out her 2021 with a third consecutive finish, this time by way of knockout against Victoria Souza before returning home to focus on her senior year of high school.

Now a graduate, Lee has been putting in work at the gym, preparing herself for a return to the circle later this year. Meanwhile, her big brother and two-division world champion Christian Lee has been talking up his sister’s progress in a recent interview with ONE Championship:

“She’s always been showing up calm but I think that she’s just going to pick her opponent apart and beat her in every range. I think that her striking’s gonna really shine in this fight. She’s improved in every area, but she’s definitely going to pick her opponent apart with her hands.”

Christian Lee says Victoria Lee’s biggest improvement is in her head

Going into a professional fight can be nerve-wracking for most people, especially if you’re still a teenager trying to work through the trials and tribulations of high school.

That’s exactly where Victoria Lee was the last time she stepped inside the circle. Today, she’s a high school graduate ready to continue her combat sports career with upgraded skills and a new focus on keeping herself calm inside the cage:

"I think that the biggest area of improvement in Victoria’s game is not so much on a specific skill, but her mentality that she’s bringing in the fight gam... Before she was just so nervous, [because it’s] such a big moment for her. Every fight was so nerve-wracking, this time she’s gonna go in calm."

While Victoria Lee has been hard at work to carry on the legacy of the Lee family, Christian Lee and his sister Angela have been dominating at every turn, carrying three world championships between them and earning the reputation of ONE Championship’s most prolific finishers.
