Christian Lee is gearing up for the chance to make ONE Championship history at ONE on Prime Video 4. ‘The Warrior’ steps into the main event once again, but he will not be defending his lightweight crown.
Instead, Lee will be challenging Kiamrian Abbasov for the ONE welterweight world title. Should Lee emerge victorious, he’ll be the latest ONE star to become a two-division world champion.
Discussing his champion vs. champion clash on November 19 with ONE Championship, Christian Lee was complimentary of Abbasov.
“I think Abbasov’s greatest strength is the fact that he’s a well-rounded martial artist. He’s a very durable fighter. He’s got good cardio. I feel that he’s able to mix up his striking and his wrestling quite well, which is why he is the champion.”

Fresh off his destruction of Ok Rae Yoon at ONE 160 to recapture the lightweight crown, ONE’s most prolific finisher looks to deliver another spectacular finish inside the circle.
In 16 career fights, Lee has 15 victories by way of finish, with an astonishing 94% finish rate. Abbasov is no slouch himself, boasting a 75% finish rate.
Needless to say, when Christian Lee and Kiamrian Abbasov lock up inside the circle at ONE on Prime Video 4, there is a very high probability that it will be tap, snap or nap for one of the promotion’s most dominant champions.

Christian Lee couldn’t pass up the opportunity to claim a second world title
After reclaiming the ONE lightweight world championship at ONE 160 in September, Christian Lee will jump right back into the fire on November 19, main eventing the promotion’s fourth Amazon Prime Video event.
Originally intent on taking some time off to enjoy his world title victory over Ok Rae Yoon, ‘The Warrior’ revealed that the opportunity to become a dual-world champion was just too good to pass up:
“Well, initially, after claiming my title back, it sounded really nice to take some time off. But an opportunity like this is really just too big of a moment to let it just pass me by. And fighting for a second world title, and a second weight division has always been a dream of mine since I started this sport.”
In October, Christian Lee’s older sister had an opportunity to become the family's first two-division champion but fell short in her main event trilogy bout with strawweight champion Xiong Jing Nan. Now it’s up to ‘The Warrior’ to bring two world titles home to the Lee family.
