"Christianity is the one religion you're allowed to disparage" - Joe Rogan's no-holds-barred remark about "secular Hollywood" sparks mixed reactions

Joe Rogan recently sparked debate with his remark about Christianity being the only religion that can be disparaged in Hollywood. During a discussion with American actor and filmmaker Mel Gibson on his podcast, Rogan noted that secular Hollywood shows a distinct resistance to Christian-themed projects.

He argued that while other religions are often embraced and respected, Christianity is the only one openly criticized and treated with disdain, especially in progressive circles. Rogan suggested that some view Christianity negatively, associating it with colonialism, white male dominance, and historical wrongdoings.

Speaking to Gibson on episode #2254 of The Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC color commentator said:

"There's resistance first of all from secular Hollywood where for whatever reason Christianity is the one religion that you're allowed to disparage... Christianity is the one religion where people, all these progressive open-minded leftist people, they'll embrace all these different religions until it comes to Christianity. For whatever reason that represents like white male you know whatever it represents colonialism you know whatever it represents it's negative."

Joe Rogan clarifies comments about Jon Jones' $30 million demand for potential fight with Tom Aspinall

Joe Rogan has retracted a claim made on his podcast about UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones allegedly demanding $30 million for a fight with interim champion Tom Aspinall.

Rogan admitted that the rumor was false after UFC CEO Dana White reached out to refute the claim. Shedding light on his conversation with White during a recent podcast episode with Theo Von, Rogan said:

“I had heard a rumor that Jon Jones wanted $30 million to fight Tom Aspinall. And I did hear that rumor. And I did hear that the UFC said yes. But that’s not true. Dana contacted me and said that rumor is bullsh*t. So I felt obligated to tell everybody that was a fake rumor. … We did that podcast two weeks ago; I don’t remember who told me that."
