Boxing world champion Claressa Shields recently took to Twitter to invalidate former UFC fighter Greg Hardy's victory over professional boxer Hasim Rahman Jr.
The fight took place at Misfits Boxing 3, an event held on November 19 in Austin, Texas. 'Prince of War' dropped Rahman Jr. in the second round and was able to secure a decision victory over his opponent.
However, Claressa Shields did not seem to think much of Hardy's performance and pointed to the stark difference in weight between the competitors. She said the following on Twitter:
"Greg acting like he really did something... you 330 lbs. vs. someone 226 lbs.! Fight a heavyweight! @GregHardyJr"

"Former NFL player & Mma fighter! Been in with some UFC champs. He has some combat experience & athletic. And I agree with you… some! But that 100 pounds was a huge advantage"

Greg Hardy has played in the NFL as well as competed professionally in MMA. But according to Shields, his combat sports experience had little to do with his victory over Hasim Rahman Jr.
