A close-up video of Francis Ngannou knocking out Renan Ferreira has sparked debate among MMA fans worldwide. Some were astounded by Ngannou's power, while others criticized the referee in charge for the late stoppage.

Ngannou displayed his devastating punching power in his heavyweight title fight against Ferreira this past weekend at the PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants. 'The Predator' and his Brazilian counterpart traded leg kicks as they looked for opportunities to knock each other out.

Shortly after, Ngannou took Ferreira down and controlled him on the canvas before using brutal ground and pound to knock him out in the first round. Referee Dan Miragliotta declared Ngannou the winner, thus crowning him the new PFL heavyweight champion.

Notably, Happy Punch recently took to X and shared a cage side view of Ngannou landing vicious blows on Ferreira before the stoppage.

During his post-fight interview, a visibly emotional Ngannou expressed gratitude to the fans at the Mayadeen in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and honored his late son Kobe, who served as his inspiration for fighting. He stated that he is unsure and would take some time to determine whether to compete in boxing or mixed martial arts next.

With his victory over Ferreira, Ngannou successfully returned to combat sports after losing back-to-back boxing bouts against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
