Cody Garbrandt hasn't fought in the UFC since losing to Kai Kara-France in December 2021, however, he seems eager to return against a former foe. Garbrandt recently called for a trilogy bout against T.J. Dillashaw, who suffered a loss in a championship bout against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 280.
Dillashaw's latest bout had an anti-climatic ending, with the former two-time bantamweight champion suffering a shoulder injury early in the fight. The injury impacted his performance, and he was dominated by Sterling before ultimately getting finished in round two.
However, Garbrandt had no love for Dillashaw on Twitter, with the 31-year-old calling his long-time foe a "b***h" on social media. Garbrandt grilled 'Lieutenant Dan' for making excuses after the Sterling loss and alluded to Dillashaw's tainted history as a cheat:
"This dude is a b***h. 10 days before our first fight the UFC flew me to Las Vegas to get epidural shots in my back because I couldn’t even walk. I didn’t make any excuses or cry about it after I lost [to] this cheating b*****d. Me vs. T.J. book that s**t epo can’t save you anymore."

Cody Garbrandt has never beaten T.J. Dillashaw despite fighting the former champion twice. Dillashaw finished 'No Love' in both bouts, with Garbrandt failing to get past the second-round in both contests.
Dillashaw beat Garbrandt via TKO in the second round at UFC 217: Bisping vs. St. Pierre in 2017. In the rematch, the two-time UFC champion once again got his hand raised, this time stopping 'No Love' in the first round at UFC 227.

'No Love' managed to beat the likes of Takeya Mizugaki, Thomas Almeida, Augusto Mendes, Henry Briones, and Marcus Brimage. He also beat, in dominant fashion, then-champion Dominick Cruz to win the UFC bantamweight title.
However, in his last six UFC outings, Garbrandt has managed to win just once.
