Fans ignored Colby Covington's NFL predictions to insult him about his latest UFC loss.

On December 14, Covington headlined the last UFC event of the calendar year, UFC Tampa. The former interim welterweight champion attempted to bounce back from his disappointing world title defeat a year ago against Leon Edwards.

Instead, Joaquin Buckley battered Covington to a third-round TKO (doctor's stoppage). Since then, fans have continuously trolled the 36-year-old on social media for suffering his fifth loss inside the Octagon.

Earlier this week, Covington took to Instagram and posted his predictions for the two NFL games scheduled for Christmas Day. 'Chaos' added the following caption:

Fans took to the comment section and made many references to Covington's recent UFC Tampa loss against Buckley:

"Still wearing those glasses from getting knocked out?"
"Winners? Colby knows nothing about winning sadly enough. 🇺🇸"
"Covering the eyelid from Buckley still"
"Can’t believe I bet him to beat Buckley 🤦🏻‍♂️"

Colby Covington believes NFL legend should be "in prison for life"

Earlier this month, former NFL quarterback Michael Vick was announced as the new football head coach for Norfolk State. Many fans were excited to see Vick return to the game due to his history as being an unforgettable talent on the field.

Meanwhile, Colby Covington attacked Vick on Twitter:

"Michael Vick belongs in prison for life. What he did to those dogs is unforgivable. The Norfolk State athletic department, staff and anyone endorsing this subhuman piece of trash should be ashamed of themselves. @MichaelVick"

Michael Vick spent 21 months in federal prison after being found guilty of a dog-fighting operation. The criminal sentence put Vick's professional football career on hold, which he later continued for over five years.

Colby Covington, the controversial welterweight, plans to return to the Octagon in 2025, with Gilbert Burns as a potential opponent.
