Fans voiced their support for Stamp Fairtex while she recovers from an injury.

In September 2023, Stamp defeated Ham Seo Hee by third-round knockout for the vacant ONE women's atomweight MMA world title. Nine months later, the Thai superstar was supposed to defend her throne for the first time against close friend and former teammate Denice Zamboanga.

Unfortunately, Stamp suffered a torn meniscus while training, leading to her pulling out of the first defense of her atomweight MMA throne.

Since then, the 26-year-old has been working toward a highly-anticipated return, which is expected to happen in late 2024 or early 2025. Stamp recently posted an update video on Instagram and added the following caption:

Who could Stamp Fairtex fight in her return bout?

Stamp Fairtex's injury forced her to pull out of ONE 167. As a result, Denice Zamboanga accepted a short-notice replacement opponent in Noelle Grandjean. Zamboanga outclassed her Thai-French opponent to secure a third consecutive win.

The most logical option for Stamp's return would be re-booking the matchup against number two-ranked Zamboanga. Yet, the women's atomweight MMA division could have a different outlook once the queen recovers from her injury.

Number three-ranked Chihiro Sawada has established a 3-0 promotional record, including a win against Grandjean last time out. Therefore, the Japanese powerhouse could be deserving of a number-one contender bout.

Although it's unconfirmed by ONE, Stamp's next opponent could be determined by a top contender fighter. The matchup could feature Zamboanga, Sawada, or number-one-ranked Hee. Only time will tell who receives the opportunity to fight the women's atomweight MMA queen.
