Stamp Fairtex is a firm believer that slow and steady eventually wins the race.

The Thai fan-favorite's legion of fans has been patiently waiting for the return of the reigning ONE atomweight MMA world champion, who sat out the entirety of 2024 after sustaining a serious knee injury.

While Stamp's torn meniscus is now fully healed and she has been cleared to resume full activity in the gym, the 27-year-old is not putting unnecessary physical and mental pressure on herself to resume fighting.

After all, the Fairtex Training Center megastar knows she can't risk a setback in her recovery, which could further delay her comeback inside the Circle.

In an exclusive interview with ONE Championship, Stamp gave a realistic timeline for her return and explained why she's tackling her recuperation with a careful approach.

“I expect to compete in May or June. By then, everything should be in place. It may be a bit delayed, but coming back at 100 percent will definitely make my performance much better than competing while still in pain. I want to fight every three months."

Stamp Fairtex had massive world title bouts lined up in 2024, including an atomweight MMA world title defense against Denice Zamboanga and a strawweight MMA world championship bout against Xiong Jing Nan.

For now, the three-sport queen is taking her time to ensure she returns to form in 2025.

Stamp Fairtex says tough 2024 was 'a year of learning'

This past calendar year has indeed been the toughest time in Stamp Fairtex's professional career.

The Thai megastar has never turned down a bout in the world's largest martial arts organization, flawlessly transitioning to Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA.

After the injury bug forced her on the sidelines for a considerable amount of time, Stamp still chose to look on the bright side. The atomweight MMA world champion told ONE:

"This year, I spent a lot of time with myself and learned new things. It was a bad year, but not too bad because there were new things and new people to learn from. I could say it was a year of learning."
