If Danielle Kelly reclaims the ONE atomweight submission grappling world title this Friday night, she's not too keen on booking an immediate trilogy bout with Mayssa Bastos.
In August, Kelly stepped into the spotlight at ONE Fight Night 24 as the reigning atomweight grappling queen. After 10 intense minutes of action, her championship run came to an end courtesy of Bastos.
Now, the two submission sensations will run it back on Dec. 6 when ONE Championship heads back to the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok for a loaded ONE Fight Night 26 card on Amazon Prime Video.

Appearing on the JitsCast podcast ahead of her return to martial arts' biggest global stage, Kelly spoke about the possibility of a trilogy match with Bastos should she succeed in reclaiming the 26 pounds of gold.
"If I do, when I do beat Mayssa, that trilogy match," Kelly began. "But just for the fans and everything, I feel like for the both of us, like we compete with other people and then get that one back again, it's just like those fights no one wants to see straight, the same people keep fighting each other."
Did the judges get it wrong by awarding Mayssa Bastos the win over Danielle Kelly in August?
Though Mayssa Bastos walked away from their first meeting with a unanimous decision victory, many believe that the judges got it wrong — suggesting Kelly did enough that night to retain her title.
Kelly tends to agree, noting that those on her side are not just her biggest fans, but people who watched the match without bias.
"I know I can beat her. Many people thought I beat her, not just my fans, it's just the viewers that were watching the match."
Will Kelly prove herself capable of beating Bastos at ONE Fight Night 26 and even the series, or will the Brazilian go two-up on the Silver Fox BJJ star and solidify herself as ONE Championship's unofficial queen of submission grappling?
Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE Fight Night 26 live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Dec. 6 in U.S. primetime.
