Things have not gone the way of Liam Harrison in recent times but all of that will be forgotten when he steps back into competition at ONE 168. 'The Hitman' is looking to wrap up his legendary career after spending two years on the sidelines, forced to be patient.
His injuries from his last fight took a long time to recover from and even when he was back in fighting shape, there were complications that further delayed his return.
At ONE 168 on September 6, the striking legend finally gets his wish, an all-action dream clash against fellow Muay Thai icon Seksan Or Kwanmuang.
Harrison spoke about his anticipation for this fight during the press conference, where he's excited to throw down with one of the few legends of his era that he's still yet to face:

"I've mentioned it many times that this was one of my dream fights and a fight that I've wanted for a long time."
Harrison also spoke about his planned return for ONE 167, which fell apart on fight week, and how putting that behind him to focus on this fight was his immediate reaction:
"Yeah, the last one was disappointing, but I didn't dwell on that. I just got myself back in the gym and carried on training and I've been getting ready for this one, because, like I said, it's a completely different opponent, and this is the fight that would probably just be complete insanity from start to finish. And that's what I'm expecting."

Liam Harrison knows exactly what he is in for
As Liam Harrison said himself, there is a good chance that his comeback fight is going to be foot to the floor from the opening bell.
Both he and his opponent have become two of the most beloved fighters in Muay Thai because you know that they're going to lay it all on the line each and every time.
It's fitting for Harrison that this is the opponent, and the Ball Arena on September 6 is the date and location for such an overdue return.
