During the post-fight press conference at UFC 280, bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling stated that he was a much better grappler than Henry Cejudo. 'Triple C', however, did not take 'Funk Master's comments lightly.
In a recent tweet, Cejudo suggested that Sterling only won his match against T.J. Dillashaw in Abu Dhabi owing to the 36-year-old's shoulder injury. Cejudo added that he would beat the reigning bantamweight champion even if both his hands were broken:
"If we're gonna go there, you're only champ cuz of your Academy Award-winning performance. Congrats on beating a junkie with one arm who I finished in 32 seconds. If I fought you with two broken arms and a broken freakin neck, I'd still hear and new. Your time's almost up."

'Funk Master' won his UFC 280 matchup against former two-time bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw via second-round TKO. Interestingly, when Cejudo fought Dillashaw in a flyweight bout at UFC Fight Night 143, it took him just 32 seconds to secure a TKO victory.
'Triple C' is a former UFC two divisional champion. After capturing the flyweight title from Demetrious Johnson at UFC 227, Cejudo recorded another impressive win at UFC 238 against Marlon Moraes to claim the vacant bantamweight championship.
Even though the 35-year-old retired in 2020, he has since teased a potential comeback on numerous occasions. In a tweet following Sterling's win at UFC 280, Henry Cejudo asked UFC President Dana White to give him the next crack at the 135lbs title.

'Triple C' doesn't seem one bit impressed with 'Funk Master's win over T.J. Dillashaw. In a video posted to Twitter, Cejudo stated that Sterling was just babysitting his belt.
Furthermore, the Olympic gold medallist called out the reigning bantamweight champion to take him on as his next challenger:
"I took that dude out in 32 seconds, any how, my baby, my puppy is right here [pointing to his UFC championship]. Let's not forget it, all you guys are babysitting my belt. All you sorry a** 135 pounders, there is one king and his name is 'Triple C'. You [are] going to get it. Sign the contract ho*."

Henry Cejudo also had strong opinions about a few other fights on the UFC 280 main card. The former champion was especially convinced that Petr Yan was robbed in his fight against Sean O'Malley.
