Conor McGregor attacks UFC champ’s “street-fight” boast about Dagestani fighters by revisiting infamous Brooklyn bus incident with Khabib Nurmagomedov

Conor McGregor recently returned to his known ways of feuding with other UFC athletes with scathing social media posts. This time McGregor locked his target on the UFC welterweight champ, Belal Muhammad, who had highlighted the capability of Dagestani UFC fighters to fight their rivals even on the streets.

Muhammad recently appeared in an interview with Helen Yee, where he warned Ilia Topuria about being careful regarding his words. Previously, the current UFC featherweight champ had fired a shot at Islam Makhachev, implying that he could defeat the Dagestani in a street fight.

However, McGregor found Muhammad's comments too much to digest. He posted a now-deleted reply containing a screenshot to showcase how Khabib Nurmagomedov, the brightest Dagestani UFC star, avoided confronting him when he attacked his bus before UFC 223 in Brooklyn.

Conor McGregor has Belal Muhammad's UFC welterweight title on his radar

Currently, almost the entire UFC community has given up hope regarding the eagerly awaited Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler fight. The latter has already been booked against Charles Oliveira for the co-main event of UFC 309.

On the other hand, McGregor is also scouting a new rival to make his return to the octagon and sees Belal Muhammad as a viable option for him. In a recent video with Duelbits, McGregor gave his take on a potential UFC welterweight title fight against Muhammad:

"What do you think about Belal Muhammad as a champion? Oh, he’s woeful. I wanna fight him. Ok, Chandler’s matched. So, Belal [vs.] McGregor and UFC welterweight title on the line. I’ll knock out both of them [Chandler and Muhammad]."
