Conor McGregor didn't miss out on wishing his coach, John Kavanagh, a 'Happy Birthday' on the required day. McGregor's motivational style of wishing Kavanagh also provided a hint about his return to fighting.
McGregor's trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 stands was the last time combat sports fans watched him compete. The horrible shin-bone injury the Irishman suffered in this encounter cost him the fight along with sidelining him from competing for an unprecedented amount of time.
By the beginning of 2024, McGregor had recovered from his injury completely. The UFC brass also announced his comeback in the main event of UFC 303. However, 'The Notorious' eventually pulled out of the fight just about two weeks before the event.
McGregor's coach, John Kavanagh, had his birthday on Jan. 1, which had the former champ wishing him with an Instagram story. However, the words he used also indicated that he has something noteworthy coming up for which he needs his coach by his side:

Conor McGregor got involved in another legal issue recently
While fans are awaiting McGregor's return to combat sports eagerly, his legal complications aren't looking to end. About a couple of months back the Dublin civil court judged McGregor liable for sexually assaulting Nikita Hand in 2018. The Irishman had to hand out about $1.8 million including damages to the plaintiff and payment of her entire legal costs.
On Jan. 14, an anonymous woman filed another lawsuit against McGregor in Florida. She accused him of sexual assault during his visit to a Miami Heat NBA match at the Kaseya Center in 2023. The managing company of the venue, Basketball Properties LLC. was also named as a defendant in the lawsuit after the woman alleged that the arena staff continued serving McGregor alcoholic drinks despite his visibly intoxicated condition.
