It appears Conor McGregor may be ready to move to professional wrestling in the WWE after hinting at retirement from mixed martial arts. McGregor recently sent Cody Rhodes a "see you soon" message while reacting to a video of the WWE superstar sharing a drink with MMA journalist The Schmo.

For context, McGregor recently responded to a fan pointing out that he had achieved every major goal in his personal and professional life, and there wasn't any need for him to step into the cage again. The Irishman agreed with the social media post and seemingly called it quits, writing:

"Ya know what, you’re right, good bye."

In another X post, McGregor shared a clip of The Schmo clinking whisky glasses with Rhodes and hinted at potentially joining the WWE star soon. He wrote:

"The Schmo and the undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes enjoying themselves some smooth @ProperWhiskey! CLASS PERSONIFIED! Love it, Cody, see you soon."

Kamaru Usman wants to see Ilia Topuria fight Conor McGregor in Spain

Kamaru Usman was highly impressed with Ilia Topuria knocking out Max Holloway in the UFC 308 main event last weekend. In the aftermath, Usman suggested that the Georgian-born Spaniard was on his way to superstardom and should consider fighting Conor McGregor in Spain to reach the "moon" quickly.

Speaking to Henry Cejudo on the Pound 4 Pound podcast, Usman called for a McGregor-Topuria super fight in a big-name Spanish stadium and said:

He's [Topuria] a really good dude, a nice dude, but when he's in front of that mic when he's talking about fights, he comes off brash and overconfident, but he's delivering. That's all the recipe of what you need of a disruptor, of a star. So, to send him to the moon right now, why not give him Conor at 155 [pounds]?... Why not give him Conor?... A stadium in Spain. He becomes the next Conor McGregor."
