Conor McGregor has seemingly profited more from Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal than Diaz himself.

For context, with hours left for the "Last Man Standing' boxing card, 'The Notorious' proclaimed on X, that he was making a sizeable $500,000 bet on his former rival.

As McGregor saw it, Diaz has a superior boxing form. Couple that with the fact that the Stockton native enjoys a longer range, the Irishman was convinced that 'Gamebred' presents little to no trouble for Diaz inside the squared circle.

"They are both little play-around dips***s in a fight, play around b****x, but I feel Nate does him in EASY here for real."

Per the Irishman's claims, a successful bet was supposed to fetch him a payout of $1,625,000. With Diaz's majority decision win over Masvidal, McGregor would've made a clean sweep.

Interestingly, a report by MMA Junkie has quoted the California State Athletic Commission pegging Diaz and Masvidal making $500,000 and $300,000 respectively in disclosed payments. This is vastly less than what McGregor made betting on the fight.

These figures are however devoid of the pay-per-view points as well as deductions for medical, licensing, and other related expenditures. Their actual income might vary depending on how well the card sells.

Diaz has however set himself up for a plethora of lucrative opportunities with an electrifying post-fight speech:

"I'm going to beat Jake Paul's f*****g a**... My main objective, like it's always been to be the best fighter in the world, so I want to go back again for the UFC title. Leon Edwards, Jake Paul, and anybody the f**k else, you are dead."

According to the same report, former UFC lightweight champion Anthony 'Showtime' Pettis who fought Chris Avila on the card will bag $350,000 for his efforts, with Avila taking home a not-too-shabby $210,000.

In another undercard fight Shane Mosley Jr. is set to take home a guaranteed $160,000 and his opponent Daniel Jacobs will bag $100,000.
