Conor McGregor flexes more than his beefed-up muscles as he reveals that the First Lady herself, Melania Trump, might be on his speed-dial. During the inauguration party for Donald Trump, 'The Notorious' was in attendance with more than a handful of notable celebrities in support for the newly-sworn-in US president.
During the celebrations, McGregor FaceTimed the First Lady and posted a screenshot of it on Instagram. Not a lot can say that they can simply video call someone of such level of political influence at any time they want - and yet, 'The Notorious' did. This is the ultimate flex.

Trump was inaugurated on Jan. 20 in Washington, D.C. This was the second time the businessman-turned-politician was sworn into office, with the first one being back in 2017. This made Trump the first U.S. president to serve two separate non-consecutive terms. Aside from McGregor, members of the MMA community also attended Trump's inauguration party, namely UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones, and UFC featherweight star Bryce Mitchell.
After civil case loss in Ireland, Conor McGregor faces new s*xual assault lawsuit in Florida
While it seems Conor McGregor has friends in politically high places in the US, the same thing can't be said in his home country of Ireland. In a civil case verdict back in November, an Irish High Court found 'The Notorious' liable for assaulting Irish woman Nikita Hand in a hotel room in Dublin back in 2018.
The civil case verdict ordered McGregor to pay Hand 250,000 Euros in damages plus an additional 1.3 million Euros in legal fees. This is just the tip of the financial iceberg that hit the McGregor ship as various brands let go of their association with the Irishman - most notably Proper No.12 Irish Whiskey.
The storm is far from over, it seems, as an anonymous woman from Florida filing a new sexual assault lawsuit against the 36-year-old MMA megastar:
"Conor McGregor is now being sued AGAIN for s*xual assault at a Miami Heat game in 2023. The anonymous woman filed the case in Florida and is also suing the Miami Heat. She is seeking compensatory damages".
Since the alleged crime was committed on US soil, McGregor will be tried in a Florida courtroom, under Florida laws, if ever this lawsuit goes to trial. With the anonymous woman looking for compensatory damages, this could mean more financial losses for the Irish MMA star.
