Conor McGregor praised his rival Nate Diaz for his recent altercation with Dillon Danis. Both Diaz and Danis were present at UFC 281 in Madison Square Garden. Their entourages came across each other outside the venue, and a verbal back-and-forth ensued, with members from both sides trash-talking the other.

The Stockton native then proceeded to slap one of Dillon Danis' teammates as the crowd cheered him on. Security from both sides quickly broke the fight up, and the fighters went their separate ways. Conor McGregor, who used to train jiu-jitsu with Danis, tweeted out saying:

"Haha nice shot"
McGregor has since deleted the tweet. The Irishman's manager, Audie Attar, was also there during the altercation and tried his best to de-escalate the situation. This is the second time in the space of a few weeks that Nate Diaz has slapped someone at a fight event. Last month, he slapped a member of Jake Paul's team.
Backstage at the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva fight in Arizona, Diaz got into a verbal altercation with one of Paul's security guards. When a member of 'The Problem Child's' team came to calm the situation down, the Stockton native slapped him.

Michael Chandler offers to fight Conor McGregor on his return to the UFC
Michael Chandler has called out Conor McGregor for a fight. The Irishman has been constantly posting about his training and promising fans he will return. Following his loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 281, Chandler has offered to fight McGregor in his first fight back in the octagon since 2021.
During the post-fight press conference, Chandler had this to say about a potential bout:
"I don't think I'm the easiest fight he [McGregor] can take, but I do think I'm the biggest fight that he could take. I think Conor McGregor stepping back into the octagon does big numbers no matter what. But he and I step inside the octagon, we do staggering numbers."
A fight between Chandler and 'The Notorious' may not be on the cards anytime soon. The Irishman has hinted that he will look to return to the UFC in the welterweight division. He has hinted at a move to 170lbs in many posts and tweets recently.
