Conor McGregor and a handful of MMA fighters and personalities were in attendance for the inauguration party of Donald Trump yesterday. During his election campaign, Trump had strong support from the MMA world, with certain notable individuals in the industry voicing their support for the would-be 47th US president.
From influential voices like Joe Rogan and Dana White to fighters like Colby Covington and Bryce Mitchell, Trump's inauguration party almost looked like an MMA convention. Speaking of Mitchell, the polarizing UFC featherweight had a ball during the party, posting a handful of photos with people he admires and looks up to.
One of these people happens to be McGregor, whom Mitchell said he prayed with during the party. He posted a photo of it, and 'The Notorious' reshared it with the caption:
"Real good skin! God bless you brother"

Bryce Mitchell posts about his time with Conor McGregor and Jon Jones at Donald Trump's inauguration party
Looking more into Bryce Mitchell's Instagram post, it wasn't just Conor McGregor that he rubbed elbows and spent quality time with at the party. From boxing legend Mike Tyson, New York Yankees owner Patrick Bet-David, Hollywood actor Vince Vaughn to fellow UFC fighter Jon Jones, 'Thug Nasty' had what he called "an experience of a lifetime."
Mitchell wrote:
"I had the experience of a lifetime celebratin the inaguration. God really hooked me up with the vip experience. i prayed with @thenotoriousmma and @jonnybones said hey to my buddy @patrickbetdavid made buddies with @miketyson and @vincevaughn04 also said hey to @jimmylevy!! wat a thrill it was. time to get back to the farm and train like a madman. dont forget to swipe thru all the photos. the last one is the best lookin, me and 4 beautiful women that r so kind and full of life.❤️❤️❤️ God bless all yall and God bless this country that needs it so bad rite now 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅"
Being one of the most politically outspoken fighters in the UFC today, it's no surprise that Mitchell is in attendance for his candidate's inauguration win. A far-right activist and hardline Christian, one can speculate that Mitchell prayed with Conor McGregor and Jon Jones to help them with their recent and past troubles outside the octagon. It appears the two MMA icons obliged their fellow Christian.
