Conor McGregor joined Ariel Helwani on a trip down memory lane yesterday when the prominent MMA journalist posted a video of the pair's first interview together almost 10 years ago.
The interview took place prior to the Irishman's rise to fame, as well as Helwani's own climb to the top of the mountain of MMA media. Both men have gone on to achieve great things. 'The Notorious' went on to win titles in two UFC divisions, and Helwani has been awarded the MMA Journalist of the Year at the World MMA Awards every year since 2010.
After Helwani posted the video on Instagram, Conor McGregor replied in the comments section with the following:
"Awesome brother! Great to see 🇮🇪❤️ I’m gonna have some blueberries right now ahaha with some frozen yogurt ice cream. A real munch supressor and craving satisfier. Good luck team! @mcgregorfast. Still rockin around f***in shredded!"

Michael Bisping believes Conor McGregor will fight for the title if he beats Michael Chandler
Conor McGregor will make his highly anticipated return against Michael Chandler this year.
Former UFC champion Michael Bisping believes that if the Irishman is able to defeat 'Iron', he will fight for the title next.
'The Notorious' last competed in the octagon in July 2021 against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. McGregor broke his leg in the first round and the fight was stopped by the doctor. The Irishman has been undergoing extensive rehabilitation on his leg since the injury, and there are concerns about how much his game will be affected going forward.
According to 'The Count', Conor McGregor's charisma and his former two-division champion status will be enough to be granted a title shot if he beats former lightweight title contender Michael Chandler.
In a recent video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Bisping stated:
"We're gonna see a war, we're gonna see a fight. If McGregor doesn't get it done, will it be the last time we see him in the octagon? Potentially. If McGregor gets it done, will we see him fighting for the belt next? That is a given. That is 100%. Prepare yourself mentally for that."
