Conor McGregor responds after user allegedly rues over 'The Notorious' being the most famous person in Ireland over James Joyce

Conor McGregor is no stranger to bragging about his successes and loves being put on a pedestal by himself or by others. In the latest Conor McGregor Twitter saga, 'The Notorious' responded to a post critical of him being considered the most famous person from Ireland over Irish novelist, poet, and literary critic James Joyce.

A user with the handle @danielamejp shared the following post voicing their opinion about Ireland's most famous person.

The caption to the post, which was written in Spanish, translated to:

"In other words - in Ireland, they put Conor Mcgregor, and not James Joyce [as the most famous person] already shows the mentality of the man who made this map."

In typical Conor McGregor fashion, the Irish superstar replied with the following tweet:

"I don't make the rules baby I break them."

The original post featured a map of different countries and the most famous personalities from each country. Most countries had names of historical figures like Napoleon Bonaparte from France, Marie Curie from Poland and Leonardo da Vinci from Italy.

However, it also featured more contemporary famous personalities like the aforementioned McGregor from Ireland, singer-songwriter Björk from Iceland, and comedian-turned-president Volodymyr Zelenskyy from Ukraine.

Conor McGregor was last seen feuding with Irish comedian PJ Gallagher and footballer Paul McGrath after the comedian took a little jibe at the Irish MMA fighter. 'The Notorious' didn't take too kindly to his comments and proceeded to bash the comedian by taking shots at Gallagher's mental health, which he has been very open about.

Paul McGrath came to Gallagher's defense, after which 'The Notorious' blocked the former footballer on Twitter. McGregor then challenged both PJ Gallagher and Paul McGrath to a "2 vs. 1 boxing match."

Conor McGregor's feud with former teammate Artem Lobov

There was a time when McGregor would fly across the world to defend the honor of Russian-born former SBG teammate Artem Lobov. This was evident when 'The Notorious' flew from Ireland to New York to confront Khabib Nurmagomedov and his crew, who had cornered Artem Lobov following an online spat.

What resulted from Nurmagomedov and Lobov's exchange was the famous UFC 223 bus incident, where McGregor threw a dolly at a bus full of fighters, including 'The Eagle', causing multiple injuries.
