Conor McGregor's head coach, John Kavanagh, has just taken ot X/Twitter to heap praise on popular YouTuber and social media influencer MrBeast, whose recent initiative with TeamSeas has reportedly led to the removal of 34 million pounds of trash from the world ocean.
It marks one of countless philanthropic milestones in MrBeast's career, as he has poured a tremendous amount of effort to bettering the environment. For this, Kavanagh congratulated the YouTuber for accomplishing what governments struggle to.
"While national "Green" parties debate and struggle over deep questions like what is a woman, a YouTuber and a guy is his 20s are cleaning the oceans. Government have meetings and form committees, private sector gets sh*t done."
Kavanagh isn't the first notable figure from the combat sports world to speak positively of MrBeast. Moreover, he has been historically vocal about the perceived shortcomings of the Irish government, especially in recent years. Thus, he takes any opportunity to put a spotlight on them.

MrBeast, on the other hand, often keeps his political views to himself, often focusing on his philanthropic efforts more than anything else. He is also a noted MMA fan, having appeared cage-side at UFC 299, where he viewed Sean O'Malley's spectacular bantamweight title defense against Marlon 'Chito' Vera.
He was spotted alongside influencer boxing stars KSI and Logan Paul, whose PRIME brand of energy drinks has a global marketing partnership with the UFC. While his schedule is often busy, it is likely he will spare some time to be cage-side for McGregor's expected UFC return.
Conor McGregor once challenged one of MrBeast's acquaintances to a boxing match
Before he had fully committed to an octagon return against Michael Chandler, Conor McGregor was issuing challenges to anyone and everyone, including one of MrBeast's friends in KSI, who has built a reputation as an exciting influencer boxer. However, nothing came of the Irishman's callout.
In fact, 'The Notorious' subsequently dismissed the callout and refocused his attention on a UFC return, where he is still expected to face Michael Chandler in a bout he has described as the greatest comeback in sports history.
