Conor McGregor raised the stakes regarding his rumored fight with Logan Paul. Recently, the Irishman announced that he is in talks with the Ambani family to hold the fight in India. However, there has been no official confirmation from other parties involved.
In a recent social media post, McGregor proposed that the fight be for a ceremonial 'TKO King' title and predicted to knock out 'Maverick.' McGregor competes in the UFC, while Paul is associated with the WWE. The two promotions merged under a media conglomerate called TKO Group Holdings in 2023. At the time of its formation, the company was valued at $21 billion and is currently valued at nearly $26.8 billion.
McGregor wrote in his post:
"TKO Group! UFC vs WWE. There is levels to this, a big sloppy novice is going to find out! TKO KING TITLE BiggestGenerator #KingofNumbers #Streams #PPV I hold every record and I am coming back to KO this novice and rack in more numbers for the company. #StockMarketIndia #MyHighestPayPacketYet #Thanksforthecheese"

McGregor, known as one of the most successful self-promoters in combat sports, made history by becoming the first simultaneous two-division champion in UFC history. The proposed fight against Paul, which the Irishman pitched for the 'TKO King' title, marks his second attempt at a high-profile crossover venture following his boxing match against Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
Logan Paul's close associate gives an update about Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul
In a recent interaction with Daily Mail, Logan Paul's associate and podcast co-host Mike Majlak shared his thoughts on the rumored fight against Conor McGregor. Expressing his surprise at McGregor's claims, Majlak said:
“From what I understand, there [were] conversations about it a while ago. I don’t know if Conor just woke up in Ibiza or something like that and decided he wants to talk about it today. The last thing I heard, there was no update there, so I don’t know if he’s just out of his mind and just talking about it." [H/T Daily Mail]
He added:
“But Logan just had a kid, he’s locked in, he’s a girl dad. Unless there’s something that I haven’t heard, which is very possible, I don’t know what the hell Conor’s talking about. But I’ll say this: no matter what, I think the boxing world would love to see it. We’re talking about two controversial personalities. One loved, one hated. Two countries, with different fighting disciplines. The world watches that fight. It’s another Mike Tyson/Jake Paul. I want to see it happen.” [H/T Daily Mail]
McGregor was expected to return to competition against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in July. However, a toe injury forced him to pull out. Meanwhile, Paul last defeated the Irishman's teammate Dillon Danis in a boxing match in October 2023.
