Conor McGregor recently revealed whether he would ever venture into bare knuckle fighting in the future. During an interview with Ariel Helwani, the Irishman was asked about a number of combat sports-related topics, including his appearance at BKFC 41, which saw him enter the ring for a staredown with Mike Perry.

When asked whether a bare-knuckle fight would be of interest to him, McGregor provided a surprising answer. He said:

"I would do it, yes I would! In a heartbeat I'll do it. Yes I would do it for sure. It's hard to get a boring fight...It's actually almost impossible for a boring fight to happen in it." [14:02 - 14:15]

'The Notorious' then described what makes bare knuckle an exciting combat sport to watch and compete in. He stated that one could truly say that every fight is exciting, which is something he doesn't believe other combat sports can claim, saying:

"No other discipline or sport could say that and say that...a zero percent chance of a boring fight, we can all have a snoozer...Boxing can be a snoozefest, MMA can have a snoozefest as well...even a jab splits skin, so from the split skin causes panic in the ring and then the crowd rises...So it's interesting, I'd be up for it for sure, why not?" It would be interesting to see if McGregor would accept a bare knuckle fight in the future if the right offer comes his way.
