Jorge Masvidal reignited his feud with Conor McGregor, accusing the Irishman of repeatedly turning down fight offers. Despite a long history of public barbs, the two combat stars have never met inside the UFC octagon.

Masvidal has long expressed his desire to face McGregor inside the UFC octagon. However, during a recent interview on The George Janko Show, Masvidal suggested the feeling isn't mutual.

"That always been like, they offer me to him and he shuts it down, he never mentioned my names in interviews... I would fight him now."

This isn't the first time Masvidal has expressed his desire to fight McGregor. In 2023, Masvidal accused McGregor of being afraid of a potential loss that could damage his brand.

While McGregor's return against Michael Chandler remains unclear due to a potential injury, Masvidal is confirmed for a highly anticipated boxing match against Nate Diaz on July 6.

The two previously met at UFC 244 in 2019, where Masvidal secured a victory via doctor stoppage due to a cut on Diaz.

Conor McGregor explains last-minute UFC 303 withdrawal

Conor McGregor finally addressed his withdrawal from the UFC 303 main event just days after the announcement by UFC president Dana White.

In a social media post, McGregor confirmed suffering an undisclosed injury that sidelined him from the fight:

"Very tough to be ruled out of my scheduled return bout. I picked up an injury prior to the press conference that required more time to heal than was available to me."

He added:

"The decision to postpone the fight was not made lightly, but one made in consultation with my doctors, the UFC, and my team. My fans and opponent deserve me at my best for this fight and we will get there! Thank you for the messages of support, I am in good spirits and confident I’ll be back!"
