UFC superstar Conor McGregor is smaller than Carl Froch. While the Irishman is 5'9" or 175cm in height, the former super middleweight world champion boxer Froch stands at 6'1" or 185cm.
Despite the significant height difference, the boxer only holds a one-inch reach advantage over 'The Notorious' at 75". So is the Irishman too small to face Froch? The Brit sure seems to think so.
In a recent segment on his YouTube channel, FROCH ON FIGHTING, the former unified super middleweight champion spoke about a potential fight against Conor McGregor:
"Conor McGregor might give me a few small problems... If I'm fighting Conor McGregor in the cage, I'd train harder, because I'll fight [him] in the cage... I think I'd take him on in a cage. [He's] too small."

However, gone are the days when McGregor was a 155-pounder. The Irishman has put on a significant amount of size and muscle en route to recovery from his 2021 leg break.
Responding to the boxer's seemingly overconfident statement, the Irishman welcomed a showdown against the 45-year-old in the octagon.
Conor McGregor height: How does the Irishman compare to other prominent combat sports figures?
If we compare Conor McGregor's height against other fighters in his weight class, he holds his own. At 5'9", McGregor is the same height as former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier and is only an inch shorter than lightweight legend Khabib Nurmagomedov.
McGregor's only pro-boxing fight came against former undefeated world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. McGregor enjoys a one-inch height and a two-inch reach advantage over Mayweather.
The Irishman has been called out by celebrity boxing star Jake Paul on numerous occasions. Paul towers over McGregor at 6'1" and also holds a two-inch reach advantage over him at 76".
McGregor's rivalry with Nate Diaz is perhaps one of the greatest in MMA. Diaz stands at 6'0" and enjoys a two-inch reach advantage over the Irishman at 76".
After almost a year and a half away from active competition, 'The Notorious' is expected to make his UFC return later this year in a fight against former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler.
During a recent appearance on Fox News' 'Hannity', the former two-division champion stated that the fight would most likely happen by "end of summer." However, there is a greater likelihood of McGregor vs. Chandler taking place sometime in the fall.
