Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul seems to be on the verge of actually taking place. However, what may surprise some is that a simulation of their bout has existed for nearly five years now. A YouTube channel by the name of Boxing Fight Simulations used created fighter templates from the 'Fight Night' video game to do so.

Upon creating both men, he started the bout, handing control of each fighter to the video game's in-house CPU for AI computations on how either man would behave in a fight. As expected, McGregor styled on 'Maverick,' scoring a body shot knockout in a bare-knuckle bout.

Years later, just seven days ago in fact, the same YouTube channel uploaded a simulation involving McGregor and Logan's younger brother, Jake Paul, who has been desperately pursuing a boxing match with the Irishman for quite some time now.

Instead of 'Fight Night,' this time used 'EA Sports UFC 5,' using the game's official McGregor model, while doing his best to create one for Jake. Unlike the previous simulation with Logan, this one was far more competitive, and did not end with a McGregor victory. Instead, Jake flatlined a bloody McGregor with a left hook.

As far as who he'll fight upon his return to combat sports, McGregor has claimed that the billionaire Ambani family has offered a significant amount of money to face Logan in an exhibition boxing match in Mumbai, India. This, the former UFC double champion says, will be the precursor to his octagon return.

Conor McGregor was previously dismissive of boxing the Paul brothers

Despite changing his tune on boxing Logan Paul, Conor McGregor previously regarded influencer boxing with derision, even attempting to persuade SBG Ireland teammate Dillon Danis from boxing KSI. This low regard for influencer boxing was most visible in his frequent dismissals of Jake Paul.

Every time 'The Problem Child' tried to goad McGregor into a boxing match, the MMA star either scoffed or outright ignored him, further frustrating Jake, whose ambitions seem to include supplanting McGregor as the face of combat sports.
