A combat sports insider recently said that the Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul boxing match is being negotiated for April 2025 and that the UFC is part of it.
McGregor is yet to make his return to combat sports after his leg break in the UFC 264 fight against Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
The closest McGregor came to making a comeback was in mid-2024 when the UFC brass announced he would face Michael Chandler in the main event of UFC 303. However, the Irishman pulled out of the eagerly awaited fight due to a toe injury soon after it was announced.
A few of McGregor's recent X updates provided indications that the Paul fight was close to being finalized. However, several fans doubted the UFC's stand regarding the encounter.
