Tucker Carlson has suggested that Andrew Tate is the victim of a large-scale socio-political conspiracy. Tate, a British-American social media influencer and former kickboxer, is currently in a Romanian jail. He’s under investigation for allegedly committing a slew of serious crimes.
In a recent appearance on the Full Send Podcast, American conservative political commentator and TV host Tucker Carlson asserted that Andrew Tate being jailed "is a conspiracy of like-minded instincts." Carlson indicated that the majority of the media and heads of state around the world want the common people to be unintelligent, dependent, and easily manipulated via their propaganda.
Tucker Carlson insinuated that the purported political elites view Andrew Tate’s teachings regarding self-improvement as a threat to the status quo, as his teachings might help the common people improve their status and realize their social worth.
Additionally, he pointed out that if Tate advises his (Carlson’s) son to wake up early, exercise, achieve something, improve himself, and turn himself into a respectable member of society, he’d thank Tate. Expounding upon ‘Top G’s teachings regarding self-improvement and discipline, Carlson continued:

“So, the interesting thing about Tate is – That is considered threatening? Why would that be threatening? ‘Cause you don’t want an independent, self-respecting population in your country; that’s why. And so, they’re like, ‘Oh, Andrew Tate’s a sexual harasser. The same people who were on ‘Pedo Island’ [‘Pedophile Island’] with [Jeffrey] Epstein, the same people who were friends with Harvey Weinstein are like, ‘Oh, we’re protecting women.’ Really? You are?”
Tucker Carlson claimed that most socio-political bigwigs are on good terms with convicted sex offenders, such as Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein and late financier Jeffrey Epstein. Moreover, Carlson appeared to suggest that people who are targeting Andrew Tate support the social construct/concept of transgender women.
Carlson also jibed at the idea of transgender women. He implied that a cisgender man who transitions and becomes a transgender woman shouldn’t be considered a woman. He further alluded that transgender women are a threat to the very existence of the female community. Additionally, he also shot down the notion that Tate is a misogynist:
“We live in a world where the people who run everything were friends with both [Jeffrey] Epstein and Harvey Weinstein and are endorsing the idea that women don’t exist as a group. I can just show up and be like, ‘I’m a woman now. I have the lived experience of a woman. I’ve never menstruated, I’ve never had a baby, I have no female organs, I don’t have female DNA, I don’t have a female brain, but I’m a woman.’ What are you saying when you endorse that idea? You’re saying that women literally don’t exist. It’s not an actual category.”

How long is Andrew Tate likely to be in jail?
A self-proclaimed misogynist, Andrew Tate has been the recipient of widespread criticism owing to some of his opinions regarding women, relationships, and men’s rights. His comments on several such social, political, and cultural topics have been labeled as incendiary by his detractors.
‘Top G’ and his younger brother Tristan Tate were arrested in December 2022 and are currently in jail in Romania. They’re under investigation for alleged human trafficking, sexual assault, and organized crime. A few prominent political analysts, including the likes of Tucker Carlson and Piers Morgan, have lent their support to Tate. Carlson, in particular, has emphasized that some of Tate’s accusers have recently confirmed that they weren’t abused by him.
Nevertheless, Tate’s critics continue to highlight that while some of his female acquaintances have supported him, several others are working against him. Multiple female accusers have been cooperating with the Romanian police and the prosecution to help bring ‘Top G’ to justice for his alleged crimes.
As per Romanian law, a person can be held in detention without being formally charged for up to 180 days, which means that Andrew Tate could be in jail until June 2023. Tate’s lawyer Tina Glandian recently spoke to Tucker Carlson on Fox News and confirmed the same.
Andrew Tate’s detention was recently increased to another 30-day period. Ergo, ‘Top G,’ Tristan Tate, and their female alleged accomplices (Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu) are expected to be in jail till March 29, at the very least. As noted, their detention could extend until June. Regardless, an extension of detention till the month of June hasn’t been announced by the Romanian authorities thus far.
