A cryptocurrency based on Donald Trump has caught the attention of many including a veteran UFC fighter. The individual gave his nod while asserting that the crypto coin has the potential to grow significantly.
For context, Magaverse memecoin experienced a 42% increase earlier this week, before Trump's oath-taking ceremony. The memecoin was inspired by the former president and is supported by investors because of its contributions to philanthropic projects for U.S. Army veterans and children.
A tiny portion of the entire supply is set aside for Trump's initiatives toward making America great again (Maga). Although the memecoin's creators are still undisclosed, they supported Trump's presidential campaign by sending 580,000 tokens to the real estate tycoon's wallet.
Magaverse recently took to X and uploaded an animated picture of Trump holding the American flag, writing:

In response, UFC fighter Gilbert Burns expressed his belief in the crypto project, writing:
''I feel like Magaverse has potential to be the top politi-fi token this cycle. Especially with the inaguration taking place in 12 days. Great narrative, solid team & a lot of respected people in crypto taking about $MVRS. I like what I’m seeing from @MVRS.''
Regarding the MMA scene, one of the primary factors that contributed to Trump's victory in the presidential election last year was his close relationship with UFC CEO Dana White and several UFC fighters. The 78-year-old is an avid follower of combat sports and has frequently attended UFC events. The most recent one took place at UFC 309 in New York, where Trump entered the arena with White and Elon Musk.
Meanwhile, Burns previously voiced his delight over Musk's appointment by Trump to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) alongside Vivek Ramaswamy. He is currently on a three-fight losing streak. In his most recent octagon outing at UFC Vegas 97, the Brazilian lost by unanimous decision against Sean Brady.
Renato Moicano expects Donald Trump to fulfill his promises
Donald Trump was officially recognized as the winner of the 2024 presidential election on Jan. 6. Following this, Renato Moicano announced his most recent Bitcoin investment on X, implying that the present market decline is only temporary.
When a fan asked the UFC lightweight why he was supporting Bitcoin. Moicano responded:
“Because if Trump fulfills his promises on the first day BITCOIN will explode! Telling this to people that don’t have exposure to bitcoin yet! Maybe this is the last opportunity! This is not financial advice! Study bitcoin.”
