Craig Jones has fired back at Mikey Musumeci after his recent comments about the use of steroids in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Musumeci recently stated that he would like his greatest contribution to the sport of BJJ to be the implementation of regular and stringent drug testing.
The former ONE Championship grappling champion is transparent about his belief that performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) have no place in BJJ, and will do everything in his power to eradicate them from the sport.
It was, however, clear that the New Jersey native's comments on the use of steroids in the sport were aimed in the direction of the likes of Jones and Ryan, who have both shared their openness to taking PEDs.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of his UFC Fight Pass Invitational debut, Musumeci said:

"Other people like Gordon [Ryan] and Craig [Jones], they definitely help the sport grow in different ways. But I feel like what I'm doing right now is definitely the most important thing for grappling in terms of having a stable platform."

Mikey Musumeci responds to Craig Jones' Thai-massage innuendo
Mikey Musumeci and Craig Jones have gone back-and-forth following the American's recent comments about the work done by Jones in the sport of BJJ. Musumeci is adamant that steroids need to be removed from submission grappling, an opinion the Australian grappler doesn't entirely share.
With Jones being known as one of the funniest athletes in BJJ, he took a fairly light-hearted approach to the New Jersey native's recent rant about PEDs. Instead of firing back at Musumeci, potentially inciting a serious debate, he chose to poke fun at his fellow grappler.
Jones took to Instagram to share a clip of himself leaving a Thai massage parlour, as well another clip of Musumeci leaving a different Thai massage parlour. In the caption, he wrote:
"Why all the negativity? Aren't we one in the same? @mikeymusumeci"
